I bought the stainless steel letters and painted them. Look great. I had tried the plastic and vinyl. Went to the stainless.

Took some preparation and a few coats of paint.

I installed vinyl/plastic letters that I got from Forum Vendor RPI.

Chrome on the rear bumper and VR for the dash.

In both cases, prep was key. Scrub with alcohol repeatedly, use an adhesion promoter and let them set up overnight in a warm space.

Very nice, affordable upgrade.

I didn't like the way they looked on mine,I peeled them off. Use lots of alcohol to clean dash because letters don't stick too good, use a Q-tip to put pressure on letters to help stick.
