I am going to do the steering wheel control conversion on my 06. I just bought the wheel with the controls. I am ordering the newer clockspring. I need to know what other harness or wiring I will need to connect to the clockspring through the column. I believe there are three connections to be made, one lighting circuit, and two to the radio harness. I already have an 08 nav in the car so I am good there.
I have searched but there isn't too much info out there. Also what is needed to add bluetooth to the car? Any aftermarket adapters? Vendors chime in!
Thanks in advance!
There is some debate on this, I have read that there is settings that can be turned on via the tech 2, and I have read that you need an 07 on up unit. I just made sure that I got a unit from 08 and I was good.
I just had my car judged this past weekend, by Corvette Plant assembly workers, and no one noticed that the car had the conversion.
That is what I call, factory correct!
Worked great crusing down the road to shuttle through the radio stations and tweak the volume, while the nav was being used!
