I've used NXT and liked it a lot. Fortunately, we have a lot of good choices these days. Been using Turtle Wax 'Ice' lately and it's really nice too.

Looks nice.

I clay barred, polished, and waxed mine yesterday. Took me 6 hours.

I used the DoDo Juice clay bar and lubricant. Great product. I applied Adams polish and wax with a Porter Cable 7424 XP DA polisher.

I don't know if the 'beading water' test is very good. Just recently I was washing mine with the blue, extra concentrated Dawn before I was going to detail it. The old wife's "bead test" is meaningless, which is why so many think their wax/sealant/polymer of choice provides its full protection (read that "lasts longer") than it really does..

Even if it doesn't last as long as some of the premium waxes/sealants out there that was only one coat and about a hours worth of time. If I do it monthly by the end of summer I will only have four or five coats, a few hours and $15 invested.

Use what you want, i don't really care but i do know what a good wax bead looks like, very easy to see by waxing half your car, spray water on it then you can see difference. Nxt 2.0 works good for me, nuff said.

NXT is great stuff. You will find that the NXT-2 last longer than the original NXT. I use it on my DD's but for the Black C-6 Pinnacle Sovereign is the only thing that touches it.

I use NXT 2.0 but not on my Z it seems to last about a month to six weeks. Sig II is my go to for the Z however.

I agree....the waxed half will probably bead differently and better than the unwaxed half, but without something to compare it to....you might not know the difference is there.

I like to use Meguiars Gold Class which I thought was their best wax. How does NXT compare ?

That was also my favorite until I tried the NXT. I think the NXT goes on easier and comes off much easier. Less than one hour to wax the whole car. The shine is as good or better IMO.

Save your 24 bucks on the Ultimate....It is harder to put on and take off than NXT 2 is...by a long shot...Oh but you get a cheap micro fiber towell with it...and it smells like sun tan lotion...(NXT even smells better lol) I just tried this stuff today.



It new stuff smears when you wipe it off....not good at all imo.


None of the newer untimates are very good imo (compound/swirl remover etc...)...Keep getting NXT and the numbered "proffessional" MG products..They actually work.

I like and use the NXT product, but to me it seems that the NXT 2.0 doesn't come off as easy. Am I doing something wrong?
