also, i have a 2008 Z51 base coupe Corvette ---whats the difference between Z51 and non-Z51 in terms of these overlays?

One set gives you enough to do 3 emblems if you do not make any mistakes putting them on. We give you one extra decal of each side just in case, or to be used on the waterfall of a vert.

The difference is the base material that we print on. The silver metallic "glistens" in the sunlight, whereas the white does not. Sort of the same difference between metallic paint, and non-metallic paint on your car.

No problem, we understand what you are looking for.

The Z-51 series offers images that read "Z-51" and "performance engineered" on different backgrounds, as well as all of the other flags offered in the C6 section. There are no other differences.

will this stick to head rest on seats? Need phone number, interested.

Honestly don't know about that one! They have a pretty aggressive adhesive, and they stick to themselves well, but the seats & head rests get more flexing, and I could not guarantee how long they would last. I would think that under constant rubbing and flexing the edges would start to peel after some time, and then just get worse from there.

We did. That will have to be custom printed, as it is not the one we stock.

Not a problem, but since we group all custom orders together and print them the same day, it will add a few days to your order.

This style is currently only done on a custom basis, and that is why you were not able to find it on our website. There have been a lot of requests for the checkered/carbon fiber combination, so perhaps in the future it will become a standard design.

Who does custom overlays or painted emblems anymore? There are surprisingly a pretty limited amount of options from what I've been able to gather...

I don't know, goodz...this post was 7 years ago. I think technology or trend has changed enough that overlays are not in demand.
