My 2005, with 64,000 miles, I let my 17 year old daughter drive. She may drive 100 miles a week. My 2008 Indy Pace Car? No. No one drives it but me. It stays in the garage and gets babied. I don't let my 20 year old son anywhere near either of them (he drives a pick-up), but my daughter is pretty responsible. For the first year, she was the talk of the school. We caught so much **** over it from other parents, that my wife wanted me to take it away from her, but I told her they're just jealous because she drives a nicer car than they do. The other parents say we're irresponsible for letting her drive it, but she's not gotten any tickets, no wrecks and the average speed on the DIC is like 23 mph, so I don't think she's abusing it. If I suspected she was, I'd take it away and give her a Corolla. She took a lot of interest in the abilities, technology and history of the car. I found this forum through her. She got on here and studied, so I think she appreciates it a great deal. Of course I bought the car for me, but it cracks me up to see the uproar it causes letting her drive it.

Yes to a select few. How about this one, my friend just bought a new ZR1 that had less than 200 miles on it and he let my wife and I take it out for an afternoon. A good friend indeed.

I guess I'm kind of a Corvette Evangelist. I've let a number of people drive my car. Mostly just to give their kids a ride, or to share my passion with family and friends.
None of them have ever really opened up the car at all. The one exception was my brother's wife. I let him take one of his kids around the block when I first got the car....he drove it like an old lady. His wife came out, so I extended the offer to her with another of their kids. She strapped the kid in and headed out. As she turned the first corner, I was sure glad that she had one of her kids in there with her (hoping it would act as some kind of biological speed governor). I remember my brother and I doing a double face palm!

I don't loan my guns or my cars.
I have let my son (19 y.o.) and daughter (23 y.o.) drive it, and of course the wife.
People just don't ask. Actually I think that would be ballsy on their part.

Very rarely.
If in for repair/work they can take it in and out of the garage. If road test needed me the wife or son on board. My wife does not drive it but can handle a manual. My son who is 32 and a very skilled detailer, he will sometimes take it to the car wash.

Sure, why not, but like others have said, I only feel safe letting a few people drive it.
My wife drives it. My mom and dad and my wife's mom and dad drive it when they visit. I let my parents and in laws drive it simply because I know they have the insurance, money and integrity to pay for repairs should they really do any damage. No one has really had the guts to really open it up though, which is disappointing since I like to ride in it as much as I like to drive it.
