That is the combo we got and glad we did on the seats

They look rally cool. I don't know how much they cost...I'd pay $50 each seat and no more.

gonna be ugly if they unravel which could happen ...also if you put leather treatment on the seats could be messy

Let's see; flags on the seats, flags on the waterfall, flags on the console cover, flags on the steering wheel hub, flags on the floor mats, flags on the cargo shade cover, flags on the nav splash screen, flags on the wheel center caps, flags on the front fascia and flags on the rear fascia - did I miss any place? Oh yea, flags on the key fobs and flags on the hood insulator blanket. Give me a break!

This is my aftermarket seat covers with what I wanted stitched into the head rests... I think all vettes should come with something similar from the factory...

One of my favorites () is flags on the exhaust center plate when there are already flags just a foot or so above on the rear fascia. As for the seats, they're OK on a coupe but a bit much on a convertible since they're already on the waterfall. Somehow, three pairs of flags in a row looks dorky.

Default Where to get the emblems

Where can I get the embroidered emblems? I can take the seat back covers off and have the emblems sewn on at the local tailor shop.

Not trying to hijack your thread but, on the same subject....does anyone else have flags on the headrest that are stiched all black? I have a 4LT 2008 vert with a black/lt. linen interior and mine came from the factory that way. I have not seen any others like that. I'll try and take a picture and get it posted. Just curious.

The all black flags that you have are standard in 4LT interiors. I really like the subtle look of them.

I believe you can get the outer parts of the seats with the crossed flags from either PartsTaxi or GMPartsWarehouse. They are not that expensive but you have to have someone (or do it yourself) swap out your seats skins.

Any idea what a upholstery shop would charge to swap the outer seat skins on sport sears?

Now that looks nice.

I got the cross flags on mine and am glad I did. I just think it adds something. I also agree that I like the cross flags over the grand sport logo becuase that is just lettering. But to each his own. I have only had mine since February but no dirt problem as of yet.

I changed my seat back skins on my '07 last winter. I think it greatly improved the looks of the all ebony interior and it was easy to do. It took about 45 min per seat to do it. the skins were about $250 if I remember right.

Default C6 Cross flags embroidered on headrest

Where can I purchase embroidered headrests with flags for my C6? Does the Chevy dealership special order the headrest or do I have to send my existing headrest out to a special upholstery shop? If I do, could someone in the Northern California, San Francisco Bay Area suggest a shop that does this kind of work.

Thanks.......
Buzzard

To get the embroidering on the "headrest" you change the whole upper outside seat cover (everything except the upper center piece). You can those two seat cover pieces from GM Parts House or Parts Taxi. A little over $300 for both if I remember correctly, but check the price in their monthly posts on this forum.

I've always liked them on the seats. Had the console once...didn't like it and ended up replacing it.
