Im trying to find a good looking set of wheels but cant decide what looks best on a silver C6. Usually I go for black rims but this time Im thinking chrome looks good against the silver. Any input or pics?

Heres my CCW 505's powder coated comp grey. I dont like chrome at all and I think the CG offers a nice contrast against Silver.

I have the oem chromes on my silver and I love 'em.
IMHO grey or black seem to contrast the wheels from the car distinctly in a way I don't like. Chrome just seems to blend nicely with silver.
But then again... I'm a chrome-aholic
It all comes down to what you like... I love this forum because everybody has done pretty much everything, and you can often see (and even hear in some cases) great examples before you have to choose!

These are Cray Manta's with polished rims & brushed centers....they're also available with polished centers, but that's too much "bling" for my taste.

I dislike chrome wheels........however, on the silver and dark red corvettes, chrome is an acceptable wheel. I think I would do a comp grey Spider or ZR1 wheel with a red ( to match calipers) pinstripe. Silver and red are one of the best looking combinations IMHO.

I agree. Since I have the 2LT Red/Black interior I'm thinking about doing some Comp Grey Spiders with Red stripe when it comes time to get new tires. I really like the SP550s but they are a bit out of my price range. I think comp grey with a black halo and tint are the coolest look on Silver.

When I had my Silver 08 I ordered these.Brushed center/Black Lip/Red stripe.




I also had these Polished Lip with a brushed center.

I'm on the iPhone and can't post pics but have a look at my avatar or my recent threads. I got the vossen vvs087's in machine finish black barrel with the polished lip. IMO it's one of the best after market rims for the c6 and the look great on my MS coupe.
