Prescott is a great town. I've ridden my horse in parades there before but never been to the Corvette show. I couldn't think of a better place for a gathering of Corvette enthusiasts!

We only have 33 spots left for this show. We are nearing our capacity of 250 vettes, which we always meet every year.

It is not the main route into town (that would be 89 from the North (from Interstate 40) or State Route 69 from the Southeast and Interstate 17. SR 89 from the south is semi truck free because of all the turns and grade. It is a great ride.
I've taken this route quite a few times, and it is not only beautiful, but a really fun drive. I'm heading up on Friday, and was wondering if some other folks from Phoenix were, too.
I think it would be fun to get a few cars together, maybe meet at the junction of 17 and 74, around 1:00 or 2:00 p.m. and make that run together?
looking forward to meeting some of you folks!

Default Z06X at Corvette Show - Photos

This one of a kind $200K+, Z06X that came into the Lamb Chevy dealership in Prescott, Az from Laguna Seca for the car show for this coming Saturday while we were there doing some last minute car show prep. This is a pretty incredible car. It is entirely built out of carbon fiber and painted flat pearlescent white. It originally was to be transported to Barrett Jackson for this weekend's auction in Las Vegas, but was diverted by GM to Prescott in an enclosed carrier. GM has a governor on the engine so that it cannot be driven over 30mph by crazy lot attendants and car salesmen. It is set up like a NASCAR racecar with the full cage inside.

The photos are not great because I was using my camera in my phone and didn't have a flash, as it was inside the service bay. The car was pretty dirty since they didn't get to detail it yet.
