DBS - BCMs
If I understood the Tech correctly, he installed two BCMs - that were faulty. At this point, he thinks something else is waking the BCM "up" and whatever that is - is connected via the Logic Circuit. He just does not know what is connected to the Logic Circuit - has no diagram of that and, whomever he has spoken to at GM can't tell him either. At least that is how I understand his explanation.

DBS - 21 Days - New Wrinkle
Just returned from visiting my 2006 Corvette, in the shop some 21 days now. The Service Tech is working very hard. His efforts have been stymied some by the discovery - today - that the wiring harness in my 2006 Corvette is the harness for the 2007 model. This has made trouble shooting difficult, I assume - and one wonders if the BCM (they've been ordering and installing the BCM for a 2006 - per my VIN number) should have been for a 2007. Obviously, the "build" is different that any one would expect.
Now I'm told the wiring harness is correct, but the "book" being used by the Tech had the wrong information. Either way - makes trouble shooting difficult.

BCM Flashed
Yes, i had that done, too. Did not solve the problem. Tech is down to 72 wires that could be causing the problem. Now I'm told the wiring harness is correct, but the "book" being used by the Tech had the wrong information. Either way - makes trouble shooting difficult.

Had flash done also before BCM replacement. Update software did nothing. Been told several times by service writer and techs that 2006 and 2007 are identical cars.. Fobs slightly different and may a few minor things. Owner manuals are identical.

Mine has a build date of 11/05. Wow. I was told finding the deck lid switch draw on mine was hard. Yet they had my car finished in 5 days including getting parts. Only so many parts on the car to cause a draw. Its a small car. I don't think going wire by wire is how. Its narrowing down the circuit first then the items on the circuit. A short may take wire by wire. I handled many in my day, draws ans shorts. Never had any that took weeks to find. Usually a day or two. Remember some intermittant shorts that were a pain.

Going on a month soon. I spent 4 years in the Marines working on helicopters and dealing with wiring harness issues. Of course, many of our "shorts" were easy to find - just look for the bullet holes - but the service tech here seems to be hampered by 1) a lack of competent (interested) help from GM, initially and 2) incorrect manuals of late. This has been the most difficult "fix" I've every experienced. Still struggling to find a cause.

Over the years seen many wreck damage, improper wiring repairs and many shorts. Never had any take a month or eve7n two weeks with a tech that knew what he was doing. Manual or not. ] I( have had ones that one tech would say non repairable, vehicle to badly damaged and took job from him or got another tech involved and issue get traced down or repaired withen a few hours.

I hear you. This vehicle was 1 year old when purchased with 5000 miles on it. No problems for 4 years and 19000 miles. No history of being wrecked. One slowing event is you have to wait several minutes after the vehicle goes to sleep - to see it wake up and the draw happen. I gather the tech has been trouble shooting the wiring based on the 2006 wiring diagrams in his possession. I was told by the Service Writer - today - that those diagrams are wrong. To what extent - I don't know. I'm told he has now narrowed it to 30 circuits. I'm trying to be patient. I've talked directly to the tech. He seems sincere in his efforts. Lord knows he's got the vehicle torn open so everything is exposed. If he pulls C1 (whatever that is), the draw/wakeup stops. He seems to think that is progress.

Latest: The passenger door module - not the one controlling the locks - wakes up the radio. Current thought is the failure is the passenger door logic module. Part ordered. Day 25 and counting.

So is DBS something I get to look forward to now? I have my new 2011 GS convertible with 130 miles on it in my garage. Purchased on Friday, driven on Saturday night, rests on Sunday, dead battery on Monday. I'm not exactly new to Vett's and their indosycrasies but this is disappointing. Is there some ritual I need to perform when parking the car that I could not find in the Owner's Manual?

Seems to be a chronic problem running thru several model years. Just search this forum or digitalcorvettes.com/forums and you'll see the thread. Easy answer? Buy a trickle charger and plan on using it. Seems like that is where many owners go. 28 days and counting.

Thanks John. DBS is something I overlooked during my C6 research. I probably thought it was isolated to early model years. So now I'll simply explain to my friends that the C6 is a disguised GM research mule for C7 hybrid/electric vehicle. You just have to remember to unplug before use.
