Default clunking over rough roads

I'm getting a prominent clunking sound from the central area underneath the vehicle on rough roads mostly with vertical movement. I have replaced the sway bar end links. Sounds like something could be broken or loose. I don't see anything obvious from visual inspection. (2006 Z51 manual). Any ideas before I bring it in?

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust on your car?

If you do the connection in that area is with springs and that could be your problem. I had it there.

No; but will check for loose brackets and belly pan tightness

Check the torque on the sway bars. I replaced mine and about 1000 miles later, after going over a rough road I got the clunking. I just needed to retorque the bars.

Same here simply re-torque.
