No, it means I put an LS7 in my A6-equipped car.

Unbelievable! All you have to do is, put your car in Competetive Mode, pump your brakes 3 times & hold hem down, put your car in "S" mode & throttle it up to 4000 plus RPM. The rear tires WILL break loose. When the RPM starts to drop, let off of the brakes and you will have accomplished a "burnout". It ain't rocket science.

By the way, I've run my car over 150 times & I do not have a line lock. However, to do the same thing in a M6...you need one.

You dont need one in a manual car to do a burnout at all. You can either do it the dumb way and dump the clutch and the hit the brake and do the burnout. Or, you can use your right foot on the brake and throttle, and your left on the clutch. You would think i had an auto when i do a burnout with a stick car, it wont even move.

Here was my 5.0 6 speed manual car at the track last year.

The Cartek line lock system gets it done:

Did he mean use linelock to do a burnout staying in place? That's what I figured he meant. I've actually not done a full burnout in mine as I can be driving down the street and break the rear end loose in 1st or 2nd at will, that's more than enough intended tire wear for me. Another added perk of the manual tranny.

Just a bolt-on LS3 and a crappy night video, but you get the idea it can be done with less power than Christopher's cammed LS7 powered A6.

It's not a Utube, so you need to click on the pic. Hopefully someone can tell me how to do this without all the excess stuff.

I guess that would also work. I think the Panasonic has more to do with it.
