Huge, huge trucks, with monsterous blowers, that blow a looooong ways. They close the Beartooth hyway in october til memorial day. So much snow this year, they coundnt get equiptment up there til the middle of june. We were there 1 week after it opened. Search for "2 fun in Raazor country" thread to see more pics.
We go every year. 8 years in a row now. Love it!! Always snow up at that pass. Not THAT much though!

Trip to Montana.

I notice the Bimmer in the driveway with the vette. I currently have a 2006 325i, 6 speed. I am wondering if your BMW and vette are six speed and which one shifts better. I am trying to decide when I buy my first vette is it going to be an auto or manual. I love the smooth shift in my Bimmer. Can you provide any input. By the way nice vette and Bimmer.

OP, the car gets an A+! The photo gets an A. Not bad for a phone.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks !! Vette is 05 A4 trans,BMW is 2011 135i and is a 7sd.dct,I'm a big fan of the dct the shifts are firm and crisp, precise shifts, and a fun car to drive(300hp300tq),with that being said doesn't corner as well as the Vette or has the power, mpg overall in the Vette is better, although the wife can't keep her foot out of the accelerator in the 135i. At the end of the day I'm happy with the Vette, and wifey is happy with the 135i.

Default Best of both Worlds

Yes, you do have the best as “they say of both worlds”, a wife who understands that BMW’s are made to be driven, and a great looking corvette with over 100 more horses at your command. I am looking forward to December when I purchase mine. Keep in mind now, those Bimmer have a personality unlike any other cars I’ve own. They hate being a garage queen. I will be posting some pictures is December.
