I saw one in person the other day on a hauler while getting my oil changed at the GM dealer and it's not as bad in person as it is on here. Still would never get that color but I don't hate it once I seen it in person. Still an ole lady color if ya ask me though

It's not bad looking...but that color does not fit a Corvette. Reminds me of granny's Camry...and that's where it should stay. I for one would never buy that color.

Call me boring....but I like it. Only thing that might make it better would be if the interior came in a nice saddle color (as in Aston Martins)....something along the lines of that color you see on high dollar cars. All Corvette's dont need to be red.

looks better in these pics than before. I do like the seat latch. Still not as nice as JSB or SSB imo but it might not be as bad as i originally thought.

Thanks for the pics.

I have seen an Ice Blue Suburban LTZ, which is essentially Carlisle Blue. The color on that Suburban was just stunning, so I am sure it will look great on the Corvette. I really just don't think it is a very photogenic color.

I've seen one in person at Bloomington Gold and it still does nothing for me. I'm not locked into the "all Corvettes must be red" mentality but I do feel they need to have colors that are bold or bright, accenting the shape of the car. This color makes it blend in with the Camrys and other non-descript vehicles. There will be a lot of hype about the rarity of the color, but in most cases if something was rare when new it was for a reason-it was not desirable. If people are buying the color as an "instant collectible" I think they may be disappointed. GM had a hard time selling the projected 500 each of the GT1 commemorative models and those were at least distinct. Of all the colors in GM's pallete I'm surprised they chose this one as the special color for carlisle.

I saw one at Bloomington Gold. OP, thanks for posting.

Of the gazillion color opportunities out there, why GM picked this one is way beyond me. Yeah. It may appeal to a few, but it ain't one that grabs you.

Leaves me flat.

No black for 2012, other than the highly priced Centennial, and yet this??!! GM must still have some of those former tooth-paste marketing people on the payroll. Nice color for Colgate, but not a Corvette.

Go figure...

I wish my black Corvette was this color. Nothing is worth the maintenance, regardless how well black looks.

I like the heck out of this color!!! I had a '77 Oldsmobile 442 that was very nearly the same color and I thought it was great. If I was in the market it would be high on my list of considerations.

Might be a little feminine but it's a beautiful color on a beautiful vette.

Why doesn't your car have the front lower splitter/spoiler? Is that not coming on the 2012 GS?

Not even that color can kill the good looks of the GrandSport. Although it tries hard as Hell.

PS- If I had a Wife (and, I don't), And, I bought her a Vette (which I wouldn't) it would be that color.
