Can you hook up one of those portable jump starters to the cig lighter & retain everything?

All you lose is the window indexing. Takes seconds to restore . All other items have flash memory. Remember to lower the windows a couple of inches before removing the battery. This will keep the windows from hanging up on the weather stripping

You can, but you don't need to, all I had to do was reindex the windows.
