Karl Kustom: C6 Corvette with custom '63 body (video)
I spotted this car in Birmingham, MI. It's a C6 Corvette with a custom body made to look like a '63 Fuelie split-window. I think they did an awesome job. What do you guys think?

I saw 2 different applications of these at the local car show.
IMO a bitter sweet retro ride. Pretty strange for sure.
I suppose if you had a wrecked C6 you could do this to it.
$100 K plus your Vette. A little steep. ZR1 territory

Really, it does NOT look terrible. I saw a few variations at Bloomington Gold '11 and they were high quality cars that looked pretty good. I personally wouldn't want one, and the cost is rather high.
I'm sure this is just another subject that will polarize forum members.

I think it looks damn nice. What more would you want, beautiful C2 styling on a modern day chassis and drivetrain. Brings me back to the day when I was fortunate enough to buy a new 63'.

Very expensive!!!! I live in Des Moines, IA and it is a very large dealer here that does it. Karl Chevrolet. Here is the link.

Not for me, I would have a ZR1 for the Money!
