Only have BB exhause thinking header/intake/tune
I originally had no plans of doing any engine/performance mods but I did want the great sound of the BB Fusion exhaust so it was my first Mod. I have a 2005 and ordered the exhaust with the same 2.5" exhaust to bolt up to the stock setup.
Now I am thinking... Did I make a mistake by not getting a 3" with Xpipe? Then upgrading to performance headers and intake for more flow? I didn’t have the cash or need for that at first but now that I have the car looking how I envisioned performance is crossing my mind.
Does anyone have Header/Intake/BB or similar exhaust with a performance tune? What would decent headers/intake/tune run me??? ALSO is it a considerable difference in Noticeable Horsepower????
I do not want to drop a lot of cash into the engine I would rather wait a year or two and upgrade to a 2006 Z06 but that’s just thinking down the like, I love the wide body look but hate that the top does not come off. So do I slowly upgrade the 05 with 13k miles on it to widebody and some performance and still take the top off?

Also have an 05, A4. Mine has B & B Rt. 66 exhaust. They were on it when I bought it. Not very loud at all. I put on a set of American Racing long tube headers with high flow cats. Also had it tuned. Gained several hp and a some better sound, which is what I was after in the first place. The extra HP was just an added benefit. Hope this helps.

Made 369 RWHP and 370 torque. Also has a Blackwing CAI if that helps any. Just for information purposes...started at 326 RWHP and 355 lb-ft torque.
Gain of 43 hp and 15lb-ft of torque.
