Diy: C6 partition for less than $20
Go to the hardware store and get a 12" x 72" x 3/4" piece of pine for less than $15.
Can of black spray paint for $3.
Cut to dimensions/pictures below.
Paint.
Enjoy! ( yes that is a spare tire hard-mounted to my trunk floor )
This last pictures shows the TARGA TOP STOWED as it looks from Driver's seat area.

Really; in a $50k plus car? I guess it is true that you get what you pay for. Maybe a few bucks more for some carpet and adhesive and it wouldn't look like it belongs in the back of a pick-up truck. No offense intended; just not for me

Well the dimension are a good start for a DIY project, much simpler than the one I did for the C5 Z06. Thanks for sharing.
Are the 3" ears at the ends straight vertical or at a slight angle???

Geeez - what a tough crowd - the guy was nice enough to post all the dimensions with pics....
OK - so just go to a stereo or electronics shop - buy the fabric and cover it already....

All I said was it's not for me. I'm sure many others will appreciate the gesture. I'd much rather pay an addition few bucks for the professional looking partition, which IMO looks 10x better than a spray painted piece of wood, which anyone can obviously tell is a spray painted piece of wood

Hey,
It's not like I built this thing and am sending it to your house.
It's a Do-it-yourself post.
So that means this....if you don't like.....then don't do it.

For an absolute perfect fit...it's a tiny angle.
But the main thing is the width of them....angle cut on the end has zero effect of holding it place.

I was taught to treat people with respect...especially strangers. Some of us on here aren't rich and can't just " pay to have it done by a professional ".
This post is for people like me, who enjoy low cost, functional projects, that we do ourselves. It gives us pride knowing that we spent very little money, and got just as good, if not better functionality out of something that we made ourselves. We're not worried what other people think about what we do...we take pride in our craftsmanship, even if it does look like a painted piece of wood. You know WHY it looks like a painted piece of wood? Because IT IS a painted piece of wood.
It's things that we do and share that gets other people thinking. For example, somebody on here a few years ago, converted their foglights to ram-air cooling ducts for their front brakes. I had the same idea, and searched to see if anybody else did it. So his project gave me a good baseline in which to do my own.
I could've said " Hey XXXX shop, build me some ram-air ducting" and spent $500+ on something, but that's just retarded to me.
So I spent a day or two, working in my garage, doing it myself. I know exactly how it's built, if anything breaks, I can fix it myself. I always overbuild everything I do, so that it doesn't brake in the first place. If it happens to break, I improve it and make it again.
Oh and by the way, if you haven't seen....Quantum Motorsports (not knocking them, they are good people, this is just an example) just came out with Ram-Air Foglight inlets for cooling ducts. I'm pretty sure it's because of people like the other guy, me, and everyone who commented that gave them the "hey, we can make those and sell them" idea. If not, whatever, who cares. But it doesn't take years of R&D and testing to go hey look, those guys did this, we can make our own kit and sell it for $200.
I made mine for about $20. And mine is better.
So if you were quoted above and are reading this, you can now go back to whatever you were doing, and leave me alone....and don't post anything on my threads if your not going to act like an adult...I'll call your mother.

Thanks for posting the info, OP. It's a function piece and wouldn't be difficult for someone with initiative to dress up as they desired, with carpet or different materials.
One of the great things about a DIY is that one can customize it or improve upon it and not spend an insane amount of money. I'd rather spend it on gas...or the Z06 fund.

thanx for the specs... May build an enclosure for 2, 10 inch subs based on your dimensions. Have to come up with the rest but that gives me an idea of where I'm going. Just have to figure a way so that i don't cover the speakers on either side.

Didn't even know southerncarparts.com had that carpeting....it'll have to wait until next year. Don't wanna say why it has to wait, because some of the HATERS out there might have something smart to say about that too.
