I actually like it. Its something I'd never do to my car, but considering alot of the other 100's of tasteless mods I've seen around here. That one looks pretty well done and definitely unique.

Very brave to buck the trend my friend.

I wouldn't want the kit from OP's picture either but the new ZLR door kit looks pretty cool - doors rise more vertically. Someday maybe...

poor aesthetics and function

i actually thought of doing something like that because the car is pretty hard to get in and out of with racing seats installed especially if there's no room next to one, but didnt go through with it. if anything a traditional lambo-type door mechanism would be a much better choice
