-=-= Flawless! 2010 Callaway SC606 Turns 100,000 Miles In Under 2 Yrs @ Carlisle =-=-

As planned, we pulled into the Corvettes at Carlisle show this past week with 99,999 miles on the odometer - this car, our company demonstrator, has been a flawless vehicle!

On Friday at the event, we turned 100,000 miles, showcasing the fact our cars not only deliver serious power, they deliver reliability, and drivability

This is a car that has been autocrossed, roadraced, and driven by many prospective customers - never missing a beat Driven rigorously, yet intelligently!

She has only needed the following:
  • 17 oil changes
  • 4 sets of brakes
  • 6 sets of tires
  • 285+ car washes

Thanks to all who came out to see this car over the past 23 mos. We're far from done with this car and will continue to showcase this vehicle at shows and dealers across the country

In the meantime, come and drive a Callaway Corvette, Camaro, or new Callaway SportTruck (Tahoe, Silverado, Suburban, Avalanche, or 2500HD gasoline) vehicles at an authorized dealer near you

To schedule your drive, please visit our website: www.callawaycars.com

Wayne - thanks! You don't know how hard it was to arrive w/ EXACTLY 99,999 miles

We're fairly sure this is the highest mileage modified Grand Sport and one of the highest mileage PBC-Built engines around

We're proud of this car and the accomplishments it has made

Default Yowza.

AWESOME!!! Makes me proud to be a Callaway sales rep since the beginning!(1987) Glad you got home before the storm of Irene hit. I am sure your girls were glad to have their parents under the home roof and not the Callaway tent!

Thanks - however, it sounds like some want us to keep driving this Callaway for some more miles

Great to catch up with you at Carlisle this past weekend

Thanks! 100,000 miles in under two years in a Callaway Corvette

Was glad to be home however, the power and phones were out in Old Lyme today on acct. of the hurricane

From Carlisle, I headed south and away from the storm - and onward, towards 101,000 miles

Absolutelty. And why not? It's all upside. Each mile is just a record that is that much harder for other shops to reach.

Great numbers! What's been done to the bottom end or internals (if anything) on that Calaway engine from stock/OEM? Not asking for trade secrets simply has the bottom end or internals (rods, pistons, etc) changed from the factory? Is the engine opened up (other than cam) to install the SC?

Thanks! And you are right, NOBODY ELSE has come close!!! We are matchless in our ability to deliver power, drivability, reliability, and a powertrain warranty that is actually worth more than the paper it is printed upon

...when one is looking for more than a collection of aftermarket parts and a hope they all work together, they should look to Callaway

Powerfully Engineered, Seriously Fast - Callaway delivers!

You can just post a link to this when the next person asks 'why should I spend more $ on a Callaway when I can get the same thing done for....."

Anyway - I'm sure the people who test drive the car aren't exactly testing it's parallel parking abilities, which makes the 100k mile mark all that more amazing.
