Race Ramps Trailer Mates
Trailer-mates were developed as a solution for those wanting an easier way to tie-down a low ground clearance vehicle to a transport trailer. When a car is parked on the ramps an additional 3” of ground clearance is created - making it much easier to reach the vehicle’s tie-down points, and open your door over the trailer wheel wells.
The standard Race Ramps Front Trailer Mates (RR-TM-FRT) are 36" long by 14" wide by 4.5" high at the leading edge of the tire cradle. The slope of the incline is 10.7˚. For cars with less than 5" of ground clearance, Reverse Logic offers extended length front trailer mates. The dimensions of the RLL-TM-XL are 52" long by 12" wide by 4" high at the leading edge of the tire cradle. The extended length ramps incorporate our exclusive Progressive Incline approach with a slope that increases from 4˚ to 8˚. Depending upon the length of the overhang on the the front of the car, it's possible to use the RLL-TM-XL ramps with cars having as little as 3" of ground clearance.

Trailer Mates feature note
The tire cradle surface of the standard RR-TM-FRT Front Trailer Mates as well as the RLL-TM-XL Extra Long Trailer Mates is reinforced to withstand the extra loads associated with the trailer in motion. The RR-TM-Rear Trailer Mates also have a reinforced top surface.
Other Race Ramps products which are similar to the Trailer Mates (i.e. Flatstoppers, Trak-Jax, and Scale Ramps) should not be used as Trailer Mates since they don't have a reinforced top surface.

Taller Race Ramps Front Trailer Mates
In addition to our custom extended length front trailer mate, we are now offering a front trailer mate with a tire cradle that is 1.5" higher than the standard trailer mate. The 4.5" height of the tire cradle provides additional ground clearance for your driver door when it swings over the escape door sill in enclosed trailers equipped with escape doors.
