Side Skirts/ Splitter on Artic White Z w/ Spiders
I will be getting my new Z within a month or so and will be installing skirts and a splitter. I am on the fence concerning the color or material. I am considering gloss black, flat black, something close to cyber gray, and carbon fiber. Does anyone have any good pictures of a White Z with spiders (preferably comp gray) skirts and a splitter.

I vote for the cyber-gray.

AW Color Matched ZR1 Skirts
Widebody and paint completed at Zip Corvettes this spring - car was in showroom for a while waiting for the paint to cure. Car is back at Zip's as we speak getting the Z06 brake/custom rotor upgrade. Forum vendor Mike the powdercoater coated my new brake calipers ZR1 blue - the AW calipers in the photos below were original (coupe) and just too hard to keep clean.

The white painted skirts look good! To be honest I thought about doing that but was afraid it would have 1992 greenwood vette look.
Still think I'm going to do the CG ..... Possibly with a couple of correct scale red grandsportesq hashmarks towards the rear of the skirt.

If you choose to paint...
Whatever you decide, just make sure you use the clear 3m protective plastic over the skirt pieces that go in front of the back tires. If you don't, you will be painting them again in about two weeks. You would not believe the number of rocks that hit that small piece of trim. I am on my second set. First set - the ones in the pictures - got 20 rock chips on both sides from the time I drove it out of the showroom 50 miles home (Interstate 64). Needless to say, I was pi$$3d. The second time, I had them repainted and covered with the 3m - all is good now - lesson learned!

I like the color matched, makes it nice and easy to see on the car, especially white.

Use the tape!
I learned that lesson on my 07... My rear flares and brake duct got blasted and looked like crappy after only 9000 miles. I will have film covering all problematic areas. I just hope I can get it home from BG and road trip thru the smokies without damage. Thinking about covering the front of the rear quarter with painters tape for the trip.
