Vietnam Veterans patches and clings
I just wanted to let everyone know that a Corvette Forum member has made available a static cling using the same design as my Vietnam Veteran – Corvettes patch. These clings are 3 in. in diameter and are designed to be placed on your windshield or other glass (see picture below). This is not a decal and it can be easily peeled off. These clings are FREE. If you want one of the clings, just send a self addressed, stamped envelope to:
Don Zullinger
2928 Adams Drive
Chambersburg, PA 17201
Please include a note indicating how many clings you want.
Also, I have given out almost 400 of the patches. I still have several people on my list who have sent me PMs or emails indicating a desire to obtain a patch, but who failed to send me their mailing address. So, if you want a patch, please click on my forum name and send me an email that includes your name and mailing address. The patches are 3 in. in diameter and are embroidered on a white twill material. They can be ironed on or sewn on. These patches are also FREE.

Had an old Viet vet lic plate frame. Sanded it down and painted to match my yellow vet. Used a satin black for the lettering. Thank you both for the clings and the patch.

I left Hue Phu Bai in April 1972. Not long before we pulled out entirely. Times have changed. I now have a Vietnam Veteran license plate on my Vette. They didn't have those 45 years ago. If they had, I'm sure my car would have been trashed.
It wasn't popular to be a soldier back then. We were unpopular people in an unpopular war.
I can tell you in Georgia, I hear "Thank you for your service" almost every day.
It's a nice change.

Glad you made it back from Phu Bai/Hue. Tough place to be during the 1968 Tet offensive. Times have really changed for the better. Many of my younger nieces and nephews do not know that I was even in Vietnam.
Wonder if the patches and window clings are still available from the old thread?

If you want a patch, email me (use forum email) with your name and address. I would also like to know what unit you served with and when and where you served in Vietnam
If you want one of the clings, just send a self addressed, stamped envelope to:

Took advantage of your generosity a couple of years ago. Have used the window patch continuously. Thanks!
I, also, spent a year in Phu Bai (1970-71) w/the 101st Abn Div
