C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021

Default People photographing my car

I've had my car for almost five years now and as of recently I am noticing lots of people still photographing my car - could be at a red light, in a parking lot, outside a store. Makes me feel good that even after such a long time it still gets appreciated.

Do others have the same experience?

Yes, from time to time.

All the time and very randomly. Stopped at a rest area not long ago and there was quite the gathering around the car with people taking photos. You would have almost that it was an exotic car.

If you have the babe in your avatar in your car, that's what they may be taking the pictures of.

But the C6 is definitely a good way to start up a conversation, pros and cons. Cons usually come out with the old crappy gas mileage reason, like a V6 Camry gets better gas mileage.

Yep, and it never gets old. It especially happens when I'm in my 79 TA. The GS looks pretty good and the TA shakes the ground and you feel the rumble in your chest. OH yea the 110 octane smells good too.

I've had a lot of picture takers with my CG Coupe, now with my new one, I've had many more people go out of their way to comment on the car..

I've had a few "odd" moments where people were taking pics of my car. Once I was at a stop light and this minivan starts going through the intersection really slow. Next thing I see is the vans side door opening and this lady is hanging out of the vehicle snapping pictures of my car.

I don't mind the pictures, especially when its young kids but when the picture taker is holding up traffic it annoys me.

Almost every day. Considering how unique and superior my car is, it is expected and welcomed. Yesterday while cruising with wifee, a kid in the car behind was taking shots (her flash was popping). I also get a lot of peeps shooting my license plate.

you guys must all live in the sticks......in cali taking a picture of a vette would be like taking a pic of a minivan. If somebody takes a pic of my ride i would probably fear it was to set up some kind of a robbery.
