Default Oh My Gosh, Are you in for a treat!!!!

Seriously, I do not get super excited about a product unless it is warranted, and these new Rubber Mats from Lloyd's are unbelievable!!!

Brand new from Lloyds Mats, in stock at Southern Car Parts and ready to ship now!!!

We have been waiting since last summer for their release, and the they are finally here.

Lloyds Signature Series Rubber Mats

Newly added Lloyds Signature Rubber Cargo Mat

Signature Rubber is the only licensed custom fit, molded rubber emblem mat designed specifically for all Corvette C6 models. Lloyd's stylish design prominently displays the combination C6 Flags and Corvette word in a mat that provides unparalleled style, protection and durability. Premium materials and innovative engineering have been combined to create this perfect blend of form and function. Lloyd uses the highest quality blend of natural and synthetic rubber to create the most durable, abrasion-resistant material. The multicolor C6 logo design is permanently molded in the mat, not laminated, to provide years of exceptional appearance. With this great look and performance, Lloyd's Signature Rubber is a mat for all seasons.

Signature Rubber Corvette C6 Mats Key Features:

-Large five color double emblem C6 Flags & Corvette word.
-Exact fit to cover and protect the maximum floor area.
-Mats licensed and approved by General Motors.
-Blended natural and synthetic rubber creates outstanding wear characteristics, stays flexible and resists slipping.
-Contemporary "well" pattern and raised molded edge creates excellent capacity to capture spills and debris.
-Molded anchor points compatible with both generations of OEM fasteners.
-Engineered nibbed backing to help stabilized the mat placement.
-Anti Microbial properties inhibit growth of bacteria.
-UV stabilized material resists fading.
- Easily cleans with soap and water.
-Heavy material acts as additional road noise barrier.
-Warranty: 5 years.

I promise you, this will be the best all weather floor mat (or heck decorative mat you have used in your C6). The mats are made of soft flexible rubber that weighs about 5 lbs per mat with a nibbed backing so they WILL NOT move around under your feet.

Hard to explain, but they are made of that type of rubber that is very soft and flexible but lasts forever (you know what I mean).

I am betting these are going to be the hottest product for a good while, and I see lots of products. No corners are cut, nothing is cheaply done. Simply to best looking, functional, and even great smelling, all weather mats on the planet for the Corvette.

Very pricey..I have BMW rubber mats in my 5, and they're nice, but these seem wrong, particularly in a cashmere interior.

Ha ha....ok, we can go with that simplistic breakdown....Surprised to hear that from someone who owns a 60k car, but we will go with it for some Saturday am fun.

You have a Corvette instead of a Kia, why? They both do the same thing, just one does it better (in a wide variety of ways) than the other.

You have a Corvette, (if you are like me) because you like the nice stuff and are willing to pay a little extra for it. You comment is no different than saying, "$1000 bucks for that piece of art? It is nothing more than colors of paint spread on a canvas".

So going with your two pieces of Rubber analysis....You can get two pieces of Rubber from Walmart or Pepboys for 40-50 bucks. They are NOT custom fit for the Corvette, they do NOT use the OEM fastening system, and DO NOT have the OEM Licensed C6 Logo inlaid in the Rubber (not painted, but inlaid colored Rubber), and do not have a LIFETIME WARRANTY. So you gotta ask yourself, are those differences worth the extra 70-80 bucks? They are too me, without a doubt. I won't even mention how soft and supple these two pieces of rubber actually are .

If you answered no to the above questions, then I guess our "2 pieces of Rubber" are not for you and maybe Walmart mats are more of a better fit for you. Different strokes for different folks....

Am I making any sense here? They sure seem worth every penny to me....Not trying to be a smartass, just gotta help you see the light

Thanks,

Jim

So if I paid $185k for my Vette I should pay $225.00 for rubber mats?
Its injection molded rubber regardless

They do look nice no doubt, but not what I would call a good value at least not for myself living in sunny California.

Also something about rubber mats in my C6 just doesn't ring well.

But then I do live in sunny California and my car never sees the rain.

For the drivers that DD and are in wetter weather zones I can see their usefulness. Still though overpriced but a nice option for those that what excellent quality.
