XM Disappeared from my Nav Radio?
I think I've seen this posted before but can not find the thread. The XM radio button has disappeared from my 06 Nav radio. This happened once before about a year ago and reappeared several days later.
Can anyone explain to me how to reset the radio or somehow get this function back. I hate listening to AM/FM
Thanks,

just give xm a call, 1 800 xm radio as i recall. anyway just tell them you have lost the signal and they will reinitiate it and your on your way.
It happened once to one of mine. assuming your account is active they'll get it going for you right away.

Well, I've finally searched this forum and it appears it is not lack of signal from XM. Fix seems to be to disconnect power at the battery, XM module or pull the radio fuse under the passenger toe board. I'll check in the morning to see if it magically reappears. If not I'll pull the fuse.
I'll report back with results.

I would love to have XM and listen to the music of my choice, but their customer service(or lack of) kills any chance of them ever getting my money.

We used XM for several years, the pricing & billing were a PITA but I could live with them.
What I could not live with was the crummy audio quality (on two different C6's). We got a GM PAL + Kawal's installation cable + Ipod, big improvement.

Well, I didn't get to try the quick fix this morning. Went to start the car and the XM button is back. I've been driving the car most of the morning and this afternoon with many start/stops and no further problems.

XM was great back when it first started. Then they started putting disk jockeys on the stations, and it went straight to crap. If I want to hear someone start talking before the song ends or begin talking and not stop after the song starts, I’ll listen to FM and scan for a station and FM is free. And I do not care who is winning on Dancing with the Stars or what’s happing in the entertainment world, like the jockeys think is important for you know.
