Default Apsis' C6 Side Air Vent w/o mesh, in Matt Black Finish....very unique...pic

Hi All,

We just make this very unique Side Air Vent w/o mesh and in Matt Black finish for a customer. It looks quite different from what we have before so we would like to share it with members.

This is special order and will take at least 4 weeks for production. Normally we don't stock the version w/o mesh.

Now we are running the Holiday Special with 20% off. If you are interested please don't miss.

Our Side Air Vent is designed to install from outside for easy installation. Just peel & stick.

Here is the picture. Hope you will like it.

Yes it's just drop in. You don't have to remove anything. Just peel & stick.

The price is $230.40/set with our Holiday discount.

I installed a pair of these with the mesh on my 2005 machine silver C6. They basically drop right in and stay with 3M autotape. I drove the car for two years in every kind of weather except sticking snow and they held up with no problems. I would say to install them when its warm outside or use a blowdryer/heatgun to warm the area up a bit before fitting the adhesive I got a lot of compliments on those at car shows.

They really look nice, but too pricey for what they are.

Although it's small item but it requires many procedures in production. First we have to use mold to form the shape of the frame and hand weld every single wire to the stainless frame and grind it so it won't raise too much. Then we have to powder coat it over the stainless and then sand it/bulff it many times till the surface is complete smooth and finally we paint it. We can't just paint direct to stainless because it will peel soon. There are lots of labor involved.

Now we have Holiday Special 20% off.

All other venders go with the easy way. They just die cut the mesh and then pack it to send to you. That's all you get. They almost have no labor involved but ours take lots of labor in production.

The benefit is you don't have to remove anything for installation. It just takes less than 10 minutes for installation. Most customers would agree it's not a pleasant experience for installation if you have to install from inside. So basically you get what you pay for.

If you truly are looking for a "custom look" you have to go with a custom vendor. I have made numerous purchases with Jersey and I must say that every item has been a quality piece. Sure, there are cheaper parts and cheaper vendors, but they lack custom quality.

IMO, I appreciate and prefer doing business with a vendor who takes time to "personally" make the parts for my car.

Read the post above you from Jersey.....It's because it's A LOT of work to make a quality product.

It's a beautiful piece, but it's also too much $ for me.

What exactly is being hand welded? The piece for sale has no mesh.

How much for the frame without the hand welded wire mesh? Not interested in a frame with wire mesh.

Very well said! Jersey for sure cares about his products and that as a customer you are satisfied. He always goes that little extra for customer satisfaction.

The explanation of the price included how much hand welding/grinding was involved. What about just the frame shown in the original post?
