Both Cyber Gray and Crystal Red are fantastic colors and both are easy to live with. I've had a CG coupe for three years and sold it about 6 mo.s ago, and I replaced it with a CRM GS coupe. Previously, I've also had a magnetic red coupe which is a very similar color to CRM.
Unquestionably, the CG is very classy color, but it doesn't stand out in a crowd the way CRM does. If you can consider any red a classy color, the CRM is a classy red IMO. With the two choices your considering you can't go wrong.

My wife and I purchased our first Corvette this summer. It is a base coupe in Cyber Gray with the competition gray wheels. We looked at different colors but this one was our favorite. We have had many compliments on the color. In fact, we were at a cruise just after we bought it and another couple came over to look at the car. They liked it so much they went out that week and purchased a Grand Sport and showed up at the cruise in the following week in their new Cyber Gray Vette. Whatever color you choose, you can't go wrong. My opinion is they all look good. Just a matter of personal choice in which one you like best. We have found that the color hides the dirt reasonbly well, at least from a few feet away.

I'm super happy with my CG Z06...Lots of compliments and has been very easy to maintain and keep a good shine! Someone is always commenting on the color and inquiring about it...it's almost a little bit embarassing at times...but it does make me feel nice about the car choice! Good luck with whichever you choose!

CG is no longer on constraints but because of that there were none available for build until the end of October. The metal flake on it was worth the wait. BTW CRM $850 option CG $0. Just sayin.

I just sold my 09 CG convertible, loved that car but wanted another Z06. The color i really like though is CMR and that will be my next color vette, maybe a GS vert?
Anyway, the CG was/is a great color, especially in the sunlight. I am not a fan of silver/gray cars but when i saw the cg in the sunlight and all the blue flecks in the paint i wanted it.
It does show the dust though, not as bad as my black vette but any dark color is going to show it.
comes down to your personal desire.

When I decided to get the 427 CRM was first choice and CG was second. CRM has a candy apple red hue in the sun. I have received all positive comments on the colour. You can't go wrong with either choice.

I just recently faced the same dilemma - CG or CRM
Absolutely love both colors - You can't go wrong either way.
I went with CRM.
The reason....I liked the contrast against the carbon fiber much better

I love both colors as well, but chose Cyber Gray for both my '09 and '12 Grand Sport. I agree with the comment that CG doesn't stand out in a crowd as much as other colors, but that's OK with me. I think it's "classy".

I'm extremely happy with my CG Grand Sport. I think this is truly the sharpest color the factory has ever offered on the C6.
If there is one thing I have an issue with, it's the brake dust from the OEM pads on the painted wheels. The dust appears as an orange-colored frosting, making the wheels look bad between washings. I know this can be addressed by changing out the pads to ceramic replacements, but for the wide body cars this is a bit of a pricey swap. Just something to keep in mind regardless of what color you go with.

I love the Crystal Red and how it changes in different lighting. I don't know if most of you know this but there are two different Crystal Reds out there. 2011 and before is slightly different shade than the 2012 and after. The later is a bit darker because it was reformulated after that tsunami took out that metal flake plant in Japan. GM had to redo the CRM formula without the Zurilic flake that was produced at that plant.

Looks just like my car, you have good taste. Can't beat a CRM base model vert, best looking vette made. I always get complements on the color, reminds me of the old candy apple red and that is what others say.
