SPEEDO Faceplate in KPH for US cars to Canada
I'm not sure if any manufacturer in Canada or US can or will do this for a US Speedo.
If they can, please let us know soon before we order from Germany.
The ones that can be bought in Germany are a bit expensive at approx 115 euros or $152.00 US or $155.00 Can
The good news is, that the 320 KPH will read correctly with this one, as it is rescaled to read the correct KPH from an american car speedo.
I believe that from the new faceplate, that if one changes from metric to english, that the mph will also be scaled correctly. I am trying to confirm this from the contact info on the site.

New Info:
This is how it works.
When you put the Kph faceplate on, it will read in Kph when the DIC is set to English, and read in MPH when the DIC is set to Metric.
If you have HUD, then the HUD would read in MPH, and the Speedo would show in KPH, and vice versa.

The max reading of the speedo on the base C6 is 200. The top speed of a C6 is maybe 185 mph which is about 300 kph, well in excess of the 200 max on the dial. If one leaves the DIC on the mph setting and replaces the dial with one that reads in kph, the top speed should show up correctly on the dash. 200 kph is about 125 mph, fast enough for most drivers, but not all.

The US car speedo only reads to 200 orr 210, so when in MPh, it only reads to 200. The corvettes built for Canada have a speedo of 320Kph.
What some Canadians want, is to change the faceplate to read 320 instead of 200, without having to change out the whole cluster.
See 1st post for clarification

Is this still a thing?... I have the Canadian C5 FRC cluster which goes to 180kph and can be switched to 180mph with click of a button on the DIC....
Would be nice to have 320kph speedo....

I recently did try at night on a good rural road with no traffic nudging up to maximum reading on the analog speedo head but I was soon out of straightaway and out of my comfort zone. I'm pretty sure if I was able to keep increasing the speed the digital HUD would have continued to go higher.
