Cianci bumper and ZR1 fitment issues!
After waiting 3months to get my version2 bumper from Cianci, installed the fenders and bumper and nothing fits right. The right fender is almost 1cm longer then the left one, and the light housings on the bumper dont even fit the light housings. There is a 1cm gap between the light and bumper.
I wish i spent the extra cash on oem or different company.
Tried calling to see whats up and all i get is voicemail. Be careful!
Tell me what pics you want and we'll do it.

I am glad that I decided to go for the OEM ZR1 front end conversion.

I sympathize with your predicament. I hope Cianci can resolve the matter to your satisfaction. I know your situation isn't indicative of all aftermarket parts but there is something to be said for OEM. I put OEM Z06 quarter panels on my car and I swear they fit better than the body panels that were on the car. Again, I hope Cianci sends you panels that fit or they make it right with a speedy refund. Good luck!

Problem is im not in the USA. So sending the parts back will cost me alot more then buying new parts. Waited 3months and soon as they finally sent it its wrong.

not good at all! and then some vendors wonder why they don't get business let alone repeat business/customers.
I would, at the very least, post up pics and write to the moderators.
I would hope, but don't expect that anything will be done to rectify your problems, but this site's moderators need to have this information, and documented with pictures.
If you don't know how to post pics, look above C6 Gen in stickies.

Come June, Stephen@East Texas Muscle Cars got the panels but nothing fit, and the front bumper was so bad and didnt have mounting tabs that in July we actually finally got Cianci to refund me on the front bumper. I mean, the front bumper was NOT EVER going to fit properly around the headlights. Cianci did not send us instructions, they didn’t send mounting brackets and they didn’t send mounting hardware. It was a complete GARBAGE purchase, and if I would have known that I would’ve gone OEM ZR1 front end conversion and been done.
The Cianci fenders took a LOT of work, and Stephen had to make custom ZR1 fender inserts because the real ZR1 fender inserts did not fit. But to make the fenders fit I had to get a Z06/ZR1 front bumper, so I called Parts Taxi and got one – once it came in it turned out they had folded it in the box so it was ruined as well – they had to send a replacement to us. I really didn’t have good luck with body panels. I should have just stayed stock front end in all honesty.

just a question: is this cianci still a vendor on CF?

Before he made and installed the custom ZR1 inserts, this is how it looked after A LOT of work by Stephen:
Here's a few pictures of the panels arrived (and bumper that was unusable and refunded):

Yes they're still a vendor.
Not trying to threadjack but I think it's relevant information to the OP.
Stephen@East Texas Muscle Cars cut me a huge discount and worked with me every step of the process to make the fenders come out looking top notch. As stated though, the bumper they sent was unusable. It would have cost way more than just buying the Z06/Zr1 front bumper from Parts Taxi.
Even with the discounted and sliced hours, my invoice looked like this:
7/15/11 4 hours for fitment and repairing cracks in fenders
7/17/11 3 hours for repairing broken corners on fenders
8/10/11 2.5 hours fiber glass fenders
8/11/11 2.5 hours fiber glass fenders more, repair tab on RT fender
8/16/11 1.5 hours fiber glass work on rt fender
8/17/11 1hr body filler RT fender
8/27 through 30th, 6.5 hours fixing fenders
8/31/11 1.5hr fixing fenders/prep for paint
That's over 22 hours in just what he charged me, and I know for a fact he spent way more than that working on these.
So I'll never recommend their products to anyone. OEM all the way, you get what you pay for guys. Luckily Stephen and his guys are so great at what they do

Guess they made adjustments after they made mine last year. If you actually got the bumper on, they made a huge leap. I'd like to see an up close of the corners where the headlights and hood and front bumper meet.
My personal experience dictates my future purchases, so even if someone else got a perfectly fitting bumper from them, it can't change my experience and won't change my mind about the company. I honestly think the Cianci to C7 Carbon rename was for damage control.

I was in on the original group buy last March. The first one I received was damaged in shippment. They sent new one .It needed work at the fender to bumper connection point to get the reinforcement and tabs to line up.It's a tight fit around the headlights. More pics in C6 prts for sale forum.
