"Carbon Fiber", if not the real thing, is like a girl wearing falsies. or putting racing stripes on a car that has never been, or never will be raced.

Thanks guys for your input! It seems to be more CF preference. I'm also leaning toward to CF because I just did 3M carbon fiber vinyl wrap on the roof. It should be good matching.

I've been leaning towards flat black or maybe even plasti-kote (flat black rubberized coating) for ease of touch up

I'd say carbon fiber if it goes with the flow of your car, but me personally I'm going with the body color

I bought my kit from RPI, and originally the front splitter was body colored too. I replaced the splitter after a few years of abuse with a CF one. At that time I considered changing out the skirts to CF as well.
I decided to keep the body color as it gives it a "unique" look...maybe...
Well at least it matchs the rear spoiler.

Never thought of that. Just bought the CF skirts and the black splash guard in front of the rear tire. Does that vertical piece get beat up?

It would look great to have CF on a LMB car as long as you have other CF pieces on the car.

Are you talking painted or carbon fiber ? I've seen both ways that look good and had the same decision to make. Got a good deal on CF so that what I went with.

I paid $70 for the vinyl and did it myself with friends helping me. Not a easy job though.

Um...yeah, I agree completely.

The "fake" carbon fiber and racing stripes are purely for form, not function. Just like "falsies" on girls.

You made a perfect point without meaning to

SS Vettes, had stock ZR1 but had Don make me a set 1.5" larger for wider rear quarters.

My vote is definitely for the carbon fiber to contrast with factory color.
