Can you program out/disable the 3 flashes of turn signal?

Yes it is cool and useful....unless you mistakening activate it.
So, that is the question...can you cancel if activated...or can you remove the system.
The answer appears to be no to both.

By your question, I thought for sure you were from Florida. WORST DRIVERS EVER or maybe I should say LEAST CONSIDERATE DRIVERS EVER, no, they are terrible drivers too.

They don't even post road names on a large majority of the rural roads.
BTW: If you happen to find yourself driving on a two lane black top out in the middle of nowhere ND and see a cloud of dust approaching the highway at a 90 degree angle just assume they are not going to yeild the right of way.

The other 50% recently flunked out of anger management class.
(except the Corvette drivers, who are nice but don't wave very much)

Seriously, I want 5 blinks. I think 3 is too short of a time. I've asked the question before, and was told that in order to change it, the BCM needs to be accessed. Somebody with tuning knowledge can do it.

My suggestion for the OP is to keep your 2nd FOB in the glovebox.
After a short time, the 3 flashes bothering you will no longer be a concern.

Ever wonder why all the movies in drivers ed are filmed in Ohio?

Have had it on my MB for 3 years now and like it very much. On my wife's 2007 Lexus she doesn't have it and I always find myself letting go of the lever to soon. I am sure that 3 blinks will make it to all or most vehicles in the next few years.

I'm with the crowd that 3 blinks are not enough, I think it should be 5-6 blinks.
The point of signaling a lane change is to notify others around you of your intentions. You may not see the guy in your blind spot getting ready to move into that spot from an another lane, but he may see your intentions and adjust accordingly. One or two blinks does not cut it.
It's to bad that some richard heads behind you think that it's their signal to speed up and go around you in that direction.

Okay. Instead of making a new thread for this question, figured I'd revive this one.
Is there any way to disable the 3-blink minimum on the turn signals? I have a '13 that I'd very much like to manipulate the number of blinks at the stalk
