Spoiler looks good but I am thinking it will look much better when painted. I wanted to get this spoiler in C/F but I am impatient and bought the proper one in C/F for my ZR1......I think yours will look cooler than the factory ZR1 spoiler when it is the same color, we will see when you get it done. Mine is the same color so I can't wait until it is all done.

Quick question, when doing a wide body conversion on the rear end, do you need a different rear bumper cover as well or does the rear quarters just replace the stock ones?

You just need the rear quarters and of course the inner fender panels and the rear brake ducting. All spoilers that are for the C6 will fit on base model, Z06, GS and ZR1. It is the front splitter that is different for the wide body cars over the base.

I read somewhere that SS Vettes and SuperVettes became one company:

I know that Don used to make (and may still make) Corvette parts for Supervettes including this spoiler, but I'm not sure that they have merged.

One other thing. If you get in touch with Don and he agrees to sell/make you one of these, don't be in a hurry for it unless he says he has it in stock and ready to ship. He was a one man shop I think so it took a while for me to get mine, but it was worth the wait.

It was a good excuse to upgrade to the ZR1 front end next month.
Can you clarify that you used the Elite Pucks on your booboo, or another type of lifter ??
I have the Elite Pucks and have had no problems
Thanks

I had the Elite Engineering "Frame Rails" which have jacking 'pads' built into them. The bottom of the rails is completely flat. We were using a jack that had a hard rubber pad and as the jack raised up the car, the angle of the bottom of the frame rails changed and the jack slid out from under the car and hit the car fenders.

This was not about the EE jack pucks. I have them now and they work great.
