Default Test fit of SS Vettes Extreme ZR1 spoiler - PICS

I test fitted the SS Vettes Extreme ZR1 spoiler that is part of the final phase of my wide body conversion. (ZR1 front end conversion starting next week)

Here are some photos. It fits pretty well for the most part. We may have to do a little fill on the passenger side (on the very end to close a small gap).

I think it is going to look after it gets painted Cyber Grey.

It is not tightened down completely, just snugged up good.

Very nice! its going to look very good when you get it all complete, if that's ever possible I really like it on your car but I'm kinda wondering if it would be too much on my "narrow butt"..

Wow you really have modded the heck out of your Coupe, like what you have done and the new spoiler is going to look sweet with your soon to completed wide body conversion

No. I will be putting it up for sale.

Going all OEM front with SLP ZR1 fenders. Race Mesh grills all around.

That spoiler looks very nice.

What happened at the base of your front fender and rocker panel? That looks like it hurt.

Unless it is an illusion>>> in the first photo... the lines look off. It doesnt sit down nice and straight flush all the way across. Does it use the same holes as the GM versions?

Yep, it hurt. The car slipped off of the jack when we were changing out to the Z06 Brakes.

Here is a thread on it.

It was a good excuse to upgrade to the ZR1 front end next month.

It uses the center holes of the OEM brake but you have ti drill 3 additional holes on each side.

It's a little bit of an illusion but it's not perfect. When we get done with the prep and paint it will look very good though. I will probably make the holes slightly larger to give me a little more play to get the best fit possible. Also it is not completely tighten down as it will be when everything is finished.

I have to say that for an aftermarket part, it fits pretty well right out of the box and I'm sure that when it gets done I will be very happy with the fit.

Yours fit as well as mine. Paint shop made it fit perfect. I tried to first make about 8 mm additional holes but finally made the about 10 mm because the fitting play..

Closer pics look good . I'll be looking forward to your review of the SLP ZR1 fenders when your finished. I've been considering those or the OE fenders.
