Default Where are the Onstar and XM module?

I searched but didnt find anything. I want to unhook the Onstar module and the XM module (I will never use them).

I did this on my G8 and it removes the XM modes from the radio so you only have to cycle thru the FM, AM, and CD modes. Onstar I will never use and would like to not allow their module collect data and sell to their 3rd party vendors.

Can anyone help me out please?

Once again, thanks but not what I was looking for.

If someone knows please post and let me know, or PM me and let me know. I dont care what everyone thinks about Onstar and if they are or are not collecting data. I didnt buy this car new and I know the previous owner activated both cause I found the phone # and account # for Onstar in my paperwork.

So if you know please let me know, thanks in advance.

Onstar is the black box stuck to the windshield. XM is above the left rear wheel well.
Oh, and you need to keep up on the news, they're not doing that now.

I don't know if I would mess with the Onstar module on the windshield.

I don't think that's what the OP asked.

The XM radio is above the left wheelwell in the Z06 and coupe, behind the waterfall in the convertible. The OnStar is partly the black box on the windshield, also a box in front of the right rear cubby with connectors you can pull. I don't know if something as simple as pulling the fuses would make you happy, but you might consider that option along with unplugging the OnStar connectors.

Thank's Bob, I appreciate it.

I dont care what Onstar told people and or put on the web to counter thier bad PR, I dont trust them and dont care to have their nanny in my car if I dont want it.

In the past I have told dealers on new deals if they activate the XM or Onstar programs I walk. I dont use them and dont like the BS of trying to close the accounts out.

Project accomplished. Pulled the XM plug and it no longer shows in the radio line up. Pulled the antennas on Onstar as there are 3 main plugs and I was not sure if it would cause issues to the CANBUS system if I pulled them or not.
