Is this normal since there is more foam now? By the way I have an 06 with less then 10,000 miles and the foam was breaking down already. Nice kit thanks!!
Thanks

That sounds about right. As long as you had enough slack to tie it down where it's secure you're good to go

Anyone have before and after pics? Or is the change not visible once the covers go back on?

Gotcha.

Thanks for the quick reply. Never a day of rest for our supporting vendors huh?

It was pretty easy and strait forward to do the repair and the foam on my new seat was already cut from the factory seat springs!!! I installed the new foam blocks and the padding with some spray adhesive, and then put the cover back on. Today was the first day to drive my car and I love the feel of the seat now.

Our rebuild kit vs replacement foam kits

From our own research we've found the issue of the seat frame cutting to be caused by the area of the side bolsters in the lower seat area. Other kits do nothing to solve this issue. You can expect the same issue if you just purchase the seat foam kits.

We've also found in most C6s the seat foam is fine. They just need better support under the frame which our kit provides.

Stop riding around with no support! Order your kit today

I just had the dealer replace my seat foam. I was able to have them add your kit. The seat is better now and the test of time will tell the truth.

Great product. Did mine a few weeks back when upgrading the backs with "flagged" headrest panels. A few hundred miles later and I am completely satisfied with this improvement. Luckily my seats cushions were not showing any issues yet.

So my stock seats look flat... They are worn pretty bad, are you saying all I need to order is this kit?
