Nice day at Red Rock Canyon yesterday (pics)
Even though it's a desert out here it can be a beautiful place for a drive. With just a little sun in the right place those rocks really light up.

Great place to see when you are in Las Vegas. The colors of the hills are real cool and when the sun reflects off them you see the red. Thus Red Rock Canyon. It is a national park so you will have to pay to get in. Spend the $$$ or purchase a senior pass which can be used in any national park.

Great place to see when you are in Las Vegas. The colors of the hills are real cool and when the sun reflects off them you see the red. Thus Red Rock Canyon. EVRose, derty01 and any other Corvettes in Las Vegas/Henderson area. Come on down on Saturday mornings between 8:00 - 10:00 for the Cars & Coffee get together. Park with other C1's thru C6's, get a cup of coffee and bagel and mingle, chat, check out and participate in a weekly great "All Type of Car" get together. Real easy to find, 215 South, East of the 15, to Eastern Ave., South to the 2nd light then left into the shopping center parking lot. You can't miss us, we're all there.
