Has anyone done these mods that would know what I can expect from these mods at the wheels. Much appreciated. Jt

I have an ls2 with dynatech long tubes and cats, a Z06 npp exhaust, Vararam CAI and a custom tune by Vengeance Racing in Atlanta, GA. Mine dynoed around 390 at the wheels and I told Mike to give it a very mild tune bc it is my dd and I would rather try to save a little at the pump over more power.

My '05 Z51 M6 with the listed mods + a catback made 379RWHP on the Dyno. Added a ported intake and got to 385RWHP.

Then I traded and bought an '08 Z51 A6. No mods and it Dynos 373RWHP. Nearly equal HP and a full Warranty (now extended with a GMPP).

From the Parts for Sale section here on the Forum. It was advertized as good condition, when I received it it was badly scratched and had a vacuum line broken. I suggest that if you buy one used to get detailed pictures or see it before you buy.

My 05 had a CAI, American Racing long tube headers, B&B exhaust, and a tune. It dynoed at 370 at the rear tires. I don't have any idea how aggressive the tune was. It still got 28 mpg on the highway. It was an A4 with 3:15's.

It's tough to say what power you'll make for a few reasons. No 2 dyno's are the same.. and no 2 Tunes are the same either (of course unless you are comparing 2 cars by the same tuner) , and even though all LSx motors are created "equal" meaning rated the same from the factory..when you start adding mods and tunes,, no 2 cars will respond the same to the same mods..they might be close but not same.

All I can say is don't get too caught up in the numbers. Generally speaking with the mods you listed ,on a decent tune my bet is that you will see anywhere from 20-35 RWHP increase , maybe a tad less.

Factory rate minus 60HP Manual, minus 70HP Automatic will work for ballpark Dynojet numbers..

OP: Since you have an LS2, you may want to look at having a FAST intake manifold installed later on. The stock LS2 intake maniflod is very restrictive.

My LS2 with VX5 Cam, DynaTech Long Tude Headers, Borla Stingers, Halltech Beehive, Ported TB(original TB), Underdrive Pulley and custom tune with Dyno from Vengeance Racing in Cummins, Ga. Produced 438rwhp. Look at the enclosed Dyno.

These were my numbers after a 223/228 Comp Cam, LS3 Intake Manifold, Lingenfelter Air Induction Sysytem, LS3 Heads ported .030 , AR Headers with cats, and Corsa Sport exhaust. 101 HP RWHP gain and sounds awesome!!

Depends on the make of headers and the tune - 375 - 395 would be a range.

for the people with vararam and headers was it worth it... will run me 2500 for the install of both will i actually feel the 35 hp i will gain... also told fast 102 is more for a stroker motors and i would lose power with it... how much could i gain by just vararam and tune
