The winner gets to spec it out completely the way they want it, walk the asembly line, and have it delivered any where in the US, plus a few other bonuses. grats to the winner.

My prediction....For 2014, the C7 will not have a regular production car with the 427. The Z06 might be around, but not with the 427. They might use the 427 in a limited edition C7 to jump start sales later in the C7 run, if necessary. I think that if GM intentions were to have the 427 put out to pasture after the end of the 2013 run, then they would have said so, to try and boost sales of the outgoing 2013's. By saying "maybe" they leave the impression that the 427 "might" be around for awhile. That could hurt sales of the 427 vert(and maybe the Z06) if people that would consider paying a premium for a 2013 427 if they believed that the 427 would be available later on. GM's chief engineer when to a lot of trouble to make it clear that the 427 "might" be around for awhile.
One reason I believe the current Z06 (and possibly the ZR1) will not be in the C7 lineup, is that I believe that ALL C7's will have an aluminum frame. I read that GM was pulling the aluminum frame construction from Dana and moving it in house. Why would they do that unless they planned for the aluminum frame to be the frame used on all Corvettes? Currently Bowling Green hydroforms the frame rails and sends them to Dana in Hopkinsville, KY for assembly with stampings from the outside, then the frames are returned to Bowling Green to be cleaned and coated.
The Z06 and the ZR1 were more then just ultra high performance offerings for current sales. GM and Dana wanted to learn everything they could for future use of aluminum in their cars/trucks.
