This was taken at nite so the flash made the reflector look like the lites are on, they're not.
Not the greatess pic, but you can still see the side marker is silver colored

You pick the color when you buy them if you add the LED lights. I chose red in back and amber in front. The difference is rather than having the entire marker lit up bright red/amber you just get a little red/amber dot. It looks way nicer in IMO.

Used same tint Capt Van suggest on my side markers....sorry no pix. Love my taillights, and coupled with the tinted side markers it looks awesome.
I painted the side markers without removing em. Carefully inserted paint tape between the body (sticky side towards body) and the lens and used newspaper for the overspray.
Putting clear coat on afterword gave it some POP. Not home right now or I'd send ya pix of side markers too.
Jim
McAndrew67, awesome vanity plate.

my side markers are currently tinted with film installed by a window tinter. i like the look, but the film does not truly cover the entire lens. i would like to have mine painted. the gs creations option is interesting. i also have led lights. with the film, i have a small red circle in the rear side markers and an amber red circle for the front side markers. with the gs creations side markers, does the color of the side marker with lights on come from the led bulb? or from the lens itself? are the lenses entirely smoke colored?
here is my only pic with the side markers lit up. hard to see, but the light just barely shows through.

just ordered my tinted kit from steve! excited to see how it looks
If you want it done right get a hold of steve ray at airbrush, inc Price for all is $225 and he'll pay shipping both ways. he just needs your stock ones back once you receive the tinted ones.....and for the record, these get sanded, then sprayed with adhesion promoter. He then tint them with a diluted mixture of black base coat, add three coats of Dupont automotive two stage clear coat. Once cured, He wet sand and buff all lenses so they are super slick He did mine

body color is the way to go.. i had mine vinyl wrapped and the light shines through.. just the "reflection" is affected..
posted one pic of them "factory" and others after the wrap. i wish i could disappear mine completely but the body work and permanency keeps me from going through with it.. I also talked my friend into doing it on his white C7 and what a difference. the colored side makers look like crap on almost every color C6 or C7

A simple rear end crash that your nice vette was damaged woukd include a check In the box for improper lighting as a vehicle contributing condition.
Narrative would include: Vehicle #2 had the rear brake lights, taillight, turn signals and rear reflectors spray painted for reduced visabilty.
