Default Best polish/wax

Probably already answered a thousand times. I have some very small scratches (can only see in the right light and at the right angle) on my LeMans Blue 2005. What is the best polish or wax or other items I could use to get the scratches out or at least covered.

Thanks for any help.

Everyone will have their own brand, and most will do the job of getting rid of the small swirl marks. The clear coat of the Corvette is extra hard, so it almost takes a mechanical means of cutting the clear coat to remove those swirls or small scratches.

Whatever brand of polish or wax you currently use will have it's own scratch or swirl remover, and that may be as good or better than any other brand.

I have used the Zaino Z-PC Fusion Dual Action Paint Cleaner Swirl Remover with an orbital polisher, and it has removed the swirls successfully.
I'm sure you will get all kind of good input from members favorite brands.

Good Luck

Do you have a polisher?
If yes: Menzerna SIP, Menzerna Nano Polish
If not: Don't bother polishing by hand, simply hide with a glaze like Poorboy's black hole

Is it a garage queen?
If yes: Wolfgang Fuzion will make the metallic pop
If it's a daily driver: Menzerna Power Lock

At least. In fact, there's an entire forum here for this subject. You'd probably get much better info there.

Good luck, as already stated, the clear coat on Corvette's is very hard so to try and remove swirls and small scratches by hand is going to be tough.

Either invest in a good orbital buffer, not a circular one the body shops use or go the glaze route to hide them.

Meguiars Ultimate Wax does a decent job of concealing swirls as long as they aren't too bad. Might be wise to figure out how they go there in the first place.

Are you trying hide or get rid off the swirls ? If they aren't worth the trouble of pulling out a buffer and all that goes with it then get some good "Fill In" glaze. Follow directions then wax. A lot of people go through a lot of work to get rid of tiny swirl marks I guess not realizing that it only takes a micron size of grit and not much pressure at all to cause another swirl mark.

Only one way to know what the best polish and/or wax is and that is try them all. No way can you say one is better then all the others unless you have tried them.

Just too many variables to consider.

I found one I like. It has everything I wanted. Easy to use both applying and removing, last a good amount of time and produces a great shine. Is it the best out there, beats me, but I am happy with it and that is all that matters.
