i did mine at my friend auto shop repair, we lift the car up, removed the front fascia and loosen the fenders, we used heat gun to remove the lens, all done on one day, next day everything reinstalled, looks nice,except at night when the lights turn on, there is a fog spot on both sides, i don't know what went wrong but they look much better then before.

Outgassing is always a possiblity but with the recommended adhesive it's eliminated by 95%. Those cases I've heard of is usually very minor.
Since using this adhesive I have replaced well over 1000 lens and not had one outgas, at least not in my care or reported.
