They really turned out nice but would have been happier with oem red and zero screwing around.
I have seen caliper covers advertised. What are any responses on using them vs having them painted or powder coated.

I was thinking about the covers until the first time I saw a set on a Vette in person - they were not at all what I was wanting. This is just my personal taste, but I thought they looked a little cheap to be bolting on my car. And I wanted to replace the lines and go with one piece pads anyway, so for that I had to completely remove the calipers anyway. When comparing a couple hundred bucks for covers to what Mike the Powdercoater is charging me, it was an easy choice to do it right.

Has anyone tried the caliper covers vs painting or powder coating? If so were you happy with your choice?

What is the cost to powder coat the calipers on a 2007 Z06? My stock caliper paint is peeling, and want to get it back to stock fresh.

On my C4, I got 4 calipers, 4 caliper covers along with caliper mounting brackets all powder coated for $150.

Looking to do the C6 real soon.

Default Calipers done

I got my calipers back from Mike the Powder Coater and installed them this weekend along with new ss lines and one-piece ceramic pads. The entire job was not that difficult at all, I highly recommend getting a power bleeder if you don't have one already. And thanks to everyone's advice on the banjo bolts I didn't have any issues. Mike did my calipers in Torch Red with Gloss Black, and did a fantastic job on the coating!

Does the powder coater have a stencil that he puts the "Corvette" name back on after powder coating, or how is this done?
