You can always add a plate from Elite Engineering to stiffen it up if needed. Or, 100mg of Viagra in the Tranny. (no pun intended)
l

And, If they have other color combo's available other than White with Blue....I just might get one. I have my own supply of frame Stiffener's.

That just backs up the fact we have been saying, it isn't rigid enough for a vert.

LS7 505hp
LS3 436hp

Difference: 69hp. Yeah the steel frame can handle an extra 69hp.

Everybody always talks about HP. It's the torque that gets things moving and twisting....

You are correct. However lets use hp here since everyone is more familiar with it and it is almost a linear equation.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque

My original question (now answered) was regarding torsion applied to convertible frame while halo and roof are missing. This is regardless of the frame build material. That would have been connection between tip of driver side A-pillar and top of halo on passenger side. That would significantly resist twist caused by 427 Engine's additional torque. This connection is missing in Convertible. However forum's answer is steel convertible frame still rigid enough for 427 Engine.

The torque difference is even less...428 vs 470...not enough to be significant in frame design.
