I'd buy that CE 4lt vert for my wife in a heartbeat even with the short warranty. But I'm here in TX and that shipping and paying the sales tax here just won't work at this time.
You can do it. I recently bought a GS 4LT CE from Boardwalk (Eduardo, not Tim), and also live in TX. Just get it shipped, and you won't get charged any tax or anything else (if you pick it up, then you'd have to pay CA tax). And that far away, it's pretty much a wash to ship than travel/food/lodging expenses for at least 3 days of driving. And a lot less dangerous for the car too .
I highly recommend 'Gran Turismo' enclosed transport, since their trucks have wider trailers/ramps, so less likely to damage wheels and/or doors (when getting in and out of the cars). I've used them for a couple of Ferraris and the GS so far, and they're the best IMO. And excellent prices too. Hope this helps close the deal. Good luck.
This is the last of my 2012 Corvettes. I am trying to get more from other dealers, but I haven't had any luck. If I do buy some, I will post them up on here.
