Question for those who purchased at MacMulkin
I am thinking about purchasing through Tommy and have a question about state taxes for those who also purchased there.
I know NH has no state tax but I'm assuming that just means I will just pay my state tax when I register it with my state. Therefore I'm not really not paying a state tax by purchasing in NH. Is that right?
Thanks

Yep, nothing paid in NH. You will pay to your home state.
Of course write up all the extras separate and you wont pay any tax.
Did the ext. warranty, and Tommy has the M2W, Top Flight plate, Skip shift, and has a guy that does the clear bra too.

Also, MacMulkin does not charge a documentation fee which all dealers in Virginia charge. I ordered my C6 through Tommy and had the car delivered from the factory to a local dealer near my home in NC.

Dont think about Tommy; just order and sit back and relax.
His price will not be beat!
Car will show up perfect, all manuals, widow stickerl plastic on seats, all papers in order; and GM factory emails as it rolls down line.
You pay no NH Tax, just VA tax.
he will give you free dealer paper plate & 10 day DMV sticker so you can drive to have it registered & inspected.

Thanks. When you did that courtesy delivery, do you pay state taxes at that dealer just as if you bought it from them, and let them register the car?

Check with your state and insurance company. That's not allowed in MA, luckily I was only 40mi away, so no big deal to make 2nd trip. You could always do the paperwork via mail, get registered, then pick it up.

As the others have stated, you pay your own state tax when you register your car in your state, you do not pay tommy or NH tax. Call him up...ask all the questions you need to. He is fast becoming the leader in Corvette sales and the reason is...best price..great service..no BS. PERIOD. Check the Boards...it would be hard to find a negative comment about his prices or dealings....He is not a huge ...size wise as some other dealerships...but he is huge in sales. And if it matters to you...all his cars go inside the building upon arrival from the factory...some othes sit outside and get eaten by the acid rain...lol...

Tommy rocks he goes above and beyond in every aspect. Although he didn't collect my taxes he helped me save by not charging any fees and obviously his prices are just unbeatable .
