Saw Inferno Orange in person - WOW!!
I was all set to put an order in for a Cyber Gray and then I saw the Inferno Orange at the dealer in person. Pictures online do not do this color justice whatsoever. It is amazing and stunning in person.
Reminds me of one of those orangish/redish sunsets. It looks very much a burnt orange/red.
I am not a orange fan at all, but this car looks amazing.
I am now torn between, classy, subtle Cyber Gray or Inferno Orange.
Such very different colors, each have their pro's and con's.
I know color is very subjective, but I am really torn here.
Anybody have this color and under what light conditions does it look the most orange (my least favorite hue of the color) and under what conditions does it have that burnt/reddish color (my favorite hue)?

Go for the orange.

I have a 2011 IOM GS. Photographs simply cannot do it justice. I love the color, which is very different in sunlight than cloudy conditions or twilight. In the sunlight, the gold metallic tones are stunning, both in bright sunlight and at the "golden hour" in late afternoon. In twilight and cloudy conditions, the burnished look is beautiful. I've gotten multiple compliments about the car's color. This is not an ordinary color; I am pleased that I did not get any other color.

I was looking for yellow, but they had a IO on the lot and the more I looked at it, the more it grew on me.
It's a nice color especially in the sun. Tomato red in the shade on sunny days. I get a lot of people commenting on the color.

That would have been my choice too. But my wife said no bright colors for a man my age. My choice then was her or the orange car. Well I kept her and bought baby blue. I am still happy and married. The Carlisle blue metalic changes colors too.
Chevy muscle cars should be Orange.

I was going to get a GS 2010 Cyper Gray Vert. just over 13 months ago, I bought it, so I thought! Once the dealer got my bread they said we need more $$$, they inform me that they could not combine all the incentives they were going to give me, so I said send my check back!!! I found a 2011 GS Vert. Inferno Orange at Broadwalk in Aug. Bottomline: Cyper Gray is a good color but Inferno Orange "rocks". I get people all the time stoping me, its a CAR SHOW color and there's not many around. The Vette is a sports car, this color is wow!

When I first saw pictures, I didn't like it as much as previous Corvette oranges like Atomic Orange and Daytona Sunset Orange. Then I saw one on a dealers lot and it was AWESOME. It may be my next color.
But, Cyber Gray is pretty damn awesome, as well.

I saw my first one yesterday in person at the local super market. I drove to the far end of the lot as usual and there was one parked all by itself. I jacked up right next to it as close as I could....jk.
