can I just bolt in a 2012 seat that was wrecked into 2010 ZR1
will it wire up correct

Sorry, I can't answer that. I don't know if the connecting plugs changed from 2010 to 2012.

I just replace the foam and seat covers. All of my original wiring and connections were used, I didn't change that part.

I looked at doing the conversion on my "07 but the $2K parts cost was just too much to sink into an 'O7.

Just wanted to thank the OP and those that contributed to the thread. By following these instructions I was able to remove both seats & get the skins off in just about 2 hours total - not bad at all.

They really do look great but the ocd in me could never stand to look at any wrinkles every time I get in the car.

Those wrinkles are only there when you first install the seats. Out in the hot sun for a day or two and the wrinkles are gone and they look great.
