new in the c6 world... pics as promised
i have been on the forum for about 5 years now on the c5 and c3 side and have learned more than i have ever thought. the c5 and c3 are not daily drivers, my wife had a cts-v as a dd which loved but the shifting and getting stuck in rush hour traffic was aggrevating a knee that she had surgery on a few years back. so she said that she would like to get a different car with an auto transmission. i ask her what she wanted she replied to my suprise a corvette. 
so we narrowed down what colors she liked and the search was on. last saturday we picked up this '06 one owner monterey red with 31k miles on it. all i can say is that mommy is one happy girl right now!!!! now i have to read up on the c6's

Monterey Red Metallic is THE color... I love mine... and I'm pretty sure it's slightly faster than Torch Red (which everyone knows is faster than black or the various yellows)...
