Using incorrect terminology, over and over, just perpetuates the problem. What if everyone called their C6 a C5? How would someone that doesn't know the difference, be expected to learn the difference, if the idiots kept calling a C6 a C5. You call a vendor to get a part for your C6 but you call it a C5, do you expect to recieve the correct part for your C6.
Joe , bottom line is...you and I (and the others who agree with us) are CORRECT, the fools who call the car what it isn't, look ridiculously STUPID. I would choose smart and knowledgeable over stupid anyday, but that is just me.

Go figure!
I second your response!
As is typical of some, you just get hammered for saying something.

Be careful man. You'll get called uneducated, a fool, stupid or idiot around these parts by the Corvette police who absolutely will not tolerate you calling this car a Z06 Vert. Because these guys take car names that seriously!! Car names are serious business lmao!!

Damn shame my Cruze Corvette, doesnt get the gas milage for a real Cruze! Thats what I get for buying the wrong version lol

You don't have to get the same gas mileage as the OTHER Cruze, just say you do. After all, words don't have meanings in your little world.

Exactly. Its not like the Z06 Vert has everything the Z06 coupe has.. except the aluminum frame.

Oh wait.

Why not just call the car what it is? It's like saying the Camaro LT1 is a Corvette because it has a Corvette engine. "Hey, how do you like my new Camaro Corvette?" The Camaro is great in it's own right and so is the 427 convertible.

Great point. Or the SS Trailblazer a Corvette. The car simply is a Corvette 427 Vert.

I kinda like the good old days when a Corvette was simply a Corvette...Coupe or Convertible!
Z06, ZR1, ZL1 were once option order codes for high performance Corvette engine, brake and suspension packages....period!
Today, these are all seperate Corvette models with the ZL1 going to the Camaro.
Is it any wonder why people who do not keep up with Corvettes are confused as what to call a certain model?
2013 Corvette line: Coupe, Convertible, Grand Sport Coupe, Grand Sport Convertible, 427 Convertible, Z06, ZR1. ..

What is more sad are the people who DO keep up with Corvettes mistakenly calling a certain model incorrectly. I bet the Porsche guys DO NOT make those ridiculous mistakes.

Well, with the 2014 C7, you won't have that worry. No Grand Sport coupe, no Grand Sport convertible, no 427 Convertible, no Z06 and no ZR1 names/models to have to put up with. We can get back to arguing the merits of raised white lettering on tires.

[QUOTE=not08crmanymore;1580106627]That's not bad for a Vert! 6.64HP PER lbs.[
/QUOTE]

6.64HP PER lbs x 3335 lbs = 22,144 HP?
That's a small rocket booster.

Initially in the 2014 model year that will most likely be true, but most likely the other models will be introduced during the C7 run.

Thank you. What's really cool is my Cruze blows the doors off any stock Z06, or the Z06 Vert. Don't mess with the Cruze.
