baffle
you seem like someone who likes to work on your car.... cut the baffle off (very easy) then with the plastic that the baffle is made out of measure the hole where the baffle was cut from and make a round plastic plate and silicone that over the hole. i just did it on an xtra air intake that i took off my car to see what it would look like.it came out very nice..... i have a CAI on my car now i am thinking after i paint the stock air intake that i might dump the CAI and put my modified one on...

Update. Corvettes of Dallas never replied, so it was pretty obvious they were going to screw me. But Elite Engineering said to send them the catch can back (which cost me $24, but it's only fair), so I'm grateful to them. At least somebody still does the right thing. Hopefully they'll start disclosing what needs to be done so buyers are aware of (and willing to do) the changes needed. Needless to say, I'll never buy anything from Corvettes of Dallas/Houston/etc. But Elite Engineering DOES stand for their products. I'd definitely buy any of their products again.
